Law of Attraction Definition
The basics of the law of attraction states that like attracts like. To be more specific, positive thoughts attract positive experiences and negative thoughts attract negative experiences. The exact implication of this statement is that we create our reality through our thoughts. This is all encompassing ‐ it includes your relationships and the response you get from others, your day to day reality and environment, your physical and mental health, and your finances.

You Don't Need to Learn How to Attract
You don't need to learn how to attract, you do it automatically!
- You are always attracting and creating your reality
- To attract what you want you need to focus in a way that elicits positive feelings
- Every subject has two sides: what you want, and what you don't
- You know you are creating what you want by the way you feel when you think about it
If you feel good, if your emotional state of being is on the positive side, you are creating what you want. If you feel bad while thinking about a subject you are not creating what you want, you are creating more of what doesn't feel good.
How Does the Law of Attraction Work?
What is the law of attraction? it's a law of manifestation. You are creative whether you acknowledge it or not. You can't stop being creative because you think, and thoughts and feelings are creative. To be more specific, creation happens as a result of focus .
Focus on What You Want
Most people know what they don't want, and their thoughts are about what they don't want. So they get more of it. You need to think about what you want in order to create what you want.
The Emotions We Have While We Think
When we think about what we don't want, it doesn't feel good. When we think about what we want, we feel good. How your thoughts feel lets you know how you are creating.
To manifest what you want, think about it, and ask yourself:
- How do I feel right now?
- Do I feel good when I think about this? or
- Do I feel bad?
- Where on the emotional scale are my thoughts about this subject?
If you think about what you want and feel doubt, worry, frustration, impatience, or any emotion that is worse than that, you are not creating what you want. You create more of what feels like that.
In order to manifest what you want you need to think thoughts about what you want so that when you think about it, you feel good. You need to feel:
- Content
- Hopeful
- Optimistic
- Eager
- Happy
Then you can be sure it is coming. The further up the emotional scale you feel when you think about a subject and the more often you feel that way (creating momentum) the faster it will come.
Think about a subject and what you believe about someone or something and then ask yourself, how do I feel? If you don't feel good it will make sense that your experience isn't positive. You have two choices. You can stop thinking about it completely and focus on something that feels good. Alternatively, and what I think is the better option, is to focus on a new belief about the subject (person, place, thing, or idea) in a way that genuinely feels good or just simply, feels better.
Beliefs Matter
To understand what is the law of attraction we need to analyze our beliefs. Beliefs are thoughts we keep having on any subject which we assume are true. If you have a positive belief you feel good when you think about something. If you have negative beliefs you feel bad. Whichever you activate you create more of, so it's important to look at what we believe about the world.
